Pleading to her parents to take her to dance lessons at the tender age of 2 years old, it was clear from the get-go that the stage was calling out to little Heather Fisch. She kick-started her musical career at the age of 7, tinkling out the bass-line of a Herbie Hancock tune with her father's jazz band.
By the time she made it through puberty she had already made her way though piles of different musical instruments. At the age of 16, having had her fill of school plays and local community theater, she left high school to pursue studies in theater, music theory and modern dance at BARD College at Simon's Rock. After college, she made her initial experiments with clowning on a hitchhiking trip across Canada which inspired a longer journey which brought her to the streets of Europe where she labored as a street performer in Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin, Warsaw, Krakov, Stockholm, Granada and Barcelona.
Eventually tiring of the street life, she enrolled in a physical theater program at Teatro Estudi Victor Hernando in Barcelona where she continued her studies in dramaturgy, voice and dance; and was also able broaden her studies in clown, mime, improv, and acrobatics.
Since that time she has had her hand in many theatrical and musical projects as an accordion/vocalist, actor, director, producer and teacher. Heather is currently performing her one woman show Curbstone Follies, and is in the creation phases of a new show which she will premier with her company in August of 2012.
